How long have you had your tattoos?

I had the tattoo on my back done four years ago, at a time that I thought was the happiest in my life. Little did I know that the saddest time was just around the corner! I also have a second tattoo that I’ve had since I was fifteen; it’s been there a long time!

Why are you seeking treatment at this time?

I’m going to be really up front here. What I thought was the perfect relationship exploded, and I got very badly burned. But, I’m tired of crying, tired of feeling lost, tired of not being able to let go because I can literally feel the weight of pain and disappointment in that tattoo on my back.

Where are your tattoos located?

One is on my upper back, between my shoulder blades. My other tattoo is on the outside of my upper right arm.

What are your tattoos of?

The part of my back tattoo that I want erased is a name done in a scrolled font. The tattoo on my upper arm is a green leafy design with purple vines.

What color inks were used in your tattoos?

Only three colors of ink are in my two tattoos. The text is black, and the vine and leaf design on my right arm is done in green and purple ink.
