The older generation often doesn’t understand when those younger do something they see as rash and unexplainable. This female Blink Tattoo Removal patient doesn’t want to tell her elderly Japanese parents why she has a tattoo on the back of her right ankle. She’s decided to let the experienced and highly trained staff at Blink Tattoo Removal erase her black inked butterfly tattoo so she’ll have bare skin by the time she sees her parents again. She’s confident that the laser therapy performed by the skilled medical professionals at Blink offers her the safest, most effective elimination method available, and she’s right!
How long have you had your tattoo?
I’ve had my tattoo for almost sixteen years. I had it done when I was in my early twenties; I was with a group of friends who gave me the courage I wouldn’t have had otherwise!
Why are you seeking treatment at this time?
I’m from Japan and I’ll be going back in a year or two to begin taking care of my elderly parents. In Japanese culture, a woman having a tattoo is taboo. Older people especially are very disapproving of tattoos in general. For them to see a woman with inked skin is shocking. My parents would simply not understand my having a tattoo.
What is your goal at Blink Tattoo Removal?
I want to remove as much of the tattoo ink as possible from my skin. I’ve been searching for a safe way to do this for a few years now.
Do you have any upcoming engagements prompting you to want your tattoo removed?
I would like to be ink free by the time I go to see my parents. I have a trip to Japan planned for later this year and it would be wonderful not to have to cover my ink design this time.
Where is your tattoo located?
The area I have tattooed in on the back of my right foot, below the ankle, not quite on my heel.
What is your tattoo of?
I have the outline of a butterfly tattooed on the back of my right ankle. It was a very tender area to have inked, and as I remember, awkward to have done.
What color inks were used in your tattoo?
The butterfly outline tattooed on the back of my right ankle is just one color; it’s entirely in black ink.
Do you have any additional comments/questions?
I’ve done my research into Blink and laser tattoo removal. After speaking with the staff today, I’m confident that I would like to go ahead with my first laser session to start the process right away. I live in Port Angeles and I need to keep the number of trips I have to make down to a minimum. I’m ready to start today!
How much was the total removal treatment estimate?
During my evaluation I was told the total to remove my black butterfly ankle tattoo will be $900.
How much was the per treatment cost estimate?
Each laser session will cost $150. I’ll only need six treatments to get rid of my black ankle ink. I’m anxious to be tattoo free when I fly to see my parents later this year.
