How long have you had your tattoo?

I had this tattoo done the day before my wedding, six years ago next month.

Why are you seeking treatment at this time?

To make a long story short, this “Wedding Ring” tattoo was not something that I wanted to have done in the first place. Now that I’m finally divorced and free, I want it gone.

Where is your tattoo located?

I have a wedding ring tattooed around the ring finger of my left hand.

What is your tattoo of?

It’s a scrolled intricate band design; it looks like a wedding band. If I saw the band on someone else’s hand I would think it was a nice design, although I’ve never been crazy about the colors.

What color inks were used in your tattoo?

There are three colors of ink in my wedding band tattoo; red, yellow, and blue. Not my choice; even before we were married I had little input or decision-making choices.

Do you have any additional comments/questions?

Well, I did go to the Seattle location two months ago for my first session. It didn’t really fade the color very much and the staff told me it will require an adjustment in the laser settings. I do know that yellow ink is one of the tougher colors to fade. I was going to go back for a follow-up there, but I’m now scheduled to continue the treatments at the Olympia clinic, which is much closer for me and more convenient. So I’m here for my second treatment.

How much was the total removal treatment estimate?

When I first came in and had my wedding band tattoo assessed I was quoted a total cost of $2040 to remove the three colors on my left hand; red, yellow and blue.

How much was the per treatment cost estimate?
