How long have you had your tattoo?

I’ve had my tattoo for almost 14 years. I was in my early twenties when I went to a tattoo artist with some girlfriends.

I’ve wanted to have this tattoo removed for quite a few years now, but I’m just getting around to doing something about it.

I really want to see my undesired tattoo ink taken off my skin. Completely would be great, if not, faded as much as possible.

Well, I actually planned on starting the removal process just after the New Year, so I was aiming for summer.

Where is your tattoo located?

My tattoo is around my belly button. That’s part of the reason I want it gone so bad. I’m not getting any younger and I think it looks tacky to see an older woman with a belly button tattoo.

What is your tattoo of?

I have a sun tattooed around my belly button. My navel is the center of the sun, and the rays radiate out from there.

What color inks were used in your tattoo?

I only had one color, thank goodness! My sun belly button tattoo has only black ink in the design. I’m really glad I didn’t go for yellow.

Do you have any additional comments/questions?

Well, I did have questions when I came in to see about getting the black ink of my belly button sun tattoo taken off. I dropped by for a free Blink consultation and the medical staff here gave me the answers I was looking for.
